From small beginnings in Kohukohu, Kerikeri Plant Production shifted to Kerikeri in 1995 to enable expansion. We now supply nurseries from Kaitaia to Auckland, as well as in Hamilton, Tauranga and Napier and as far south as Westport and Dunedin.

We grow a diverse range of native trees and flaxes, shrubs, groundcovers, and grasses from seed, cuttings, and divisions, as well as numerous fern species from spore. We focus on species that grow well in Northland and the outer islands. The nursery is predominantly wholesale, however we do have a retail element. The wholesale side supplies GOLs to other nurseries, and mature plants to landscapers and revegetation projects. We also welcome customers who require smaller numbers of plants for domestic plantings to purchase on site from our retail store. Whilst specialising in natives, we do produce a limited range of exotic trees and plants suitable for Northland conditions.
